FAQ
(Frequently Asked Questions)

Q.

Where do you get the traffic?

A.

Everyday we purchase abandoned and expired domain names that still have lots of good quality traffic flowing to them. This traffic exists because they are strong type-in names or they are still listed on various search engines, directories, and link exchanges.

We purchase them to either resell or to redirect the traffic to your website. These domain names had a website on them previously that fits into one of our targeted categories. Basically, all we do is redirect that traffic coming from these websites to your website.

Q.

How is the targeting done?

A.

When you make a purchase, one of our IT specialists will visit your website and, whether you specified a target or not, we will target it further so that we send you the very best visitors possible. It is in our best interest to do so, because if you generate sales or contacts then chances are you'll be back for another purchase.

Just as important as traffic quality is targeting. There are basically two things you need to consider when you think about traffic targeting. One is where the traffic comes from and the other is how the visitors are "chosen" to see your site. You may not know this, but many companies will try to fool you into thinking visitors are coming to your site by putting your site in a mini frame with a hundred others, using a script to generate hit after hit, etc. Try asking the competition where the visitors come from, we bet they won't tell you. If you purchase targeted visitors, they could come from Altavista, Lycos Network, Mamma.com, Netflip, and many other independent sites.

Well how on earth are we getting TARGETED visitors to you? The idea is simple. Sites like Altavista have extremely targeted categories that get a lot of visitors. For example, someone may go to Altavista and look for forums, articles, or information about running a home based business. BINGO! Altavista's computers immediately look through their database of running campaigns and look for the campaigns targeted to business. They choose which of those sites need the visitor the most and they are immediately swept away to see your site.

What was just described is the traffic we sell. We have investigated and sampled virtually EVERY other traffic sources' services (of course we want to check out our competition) and have found NOBODY is selling traffic of this quality. Most of the targeted visitors are not even targeted. Ask them how they target their visitors, they probably won't even respond to your email.

Q.

What makes this traffic better than general traffic?

A.

This type of traffic is redirected traffic and therefore it's superior to popups/popunders since there is so much technology that exists only to block them. Plus, of course, very few of us actually like popups, making it somewhat unlikely that we'll actually visit the site being promoted.

Q.

Can you explain further how your traffic is derived?

A.

We are very proud of the traffic we offer. We do not have "secret sources" or "secret methods" for generating traffic. Our traffic is derived from hard work. Period. You deserve to know the source of the traffic so that you can make an informed business decision when purchasing it.

Our traffic comes from expired domain names. When someone creates a website, they generally register a domain name to go along with it. The owner must pay a nominal fee every year to keep their domain name (about $9-$30, depending on where they bought the name).

If the owner does not pay the annual fee, the domain registrar will put the name on hold. With most registrars, an "on hold" domain stops working. Most registrars allow an additional grace period of 30-90 days for the domain owner to pay the annual fee. During this period, the registrar will generally contact the domain owner many times with attempts to get them to pay the fee and reactivate the domain name. If the domain owner fails to pay on time, and fails to respond during the 30-90 day hold period, the registrar will drop the domain name.

At this point, anyone can register the name. We assume that the previous owner no longer wants a dropped name and we will register the name if we feel that it will generate traffic. After we own the name, we direct it to our server and send out the traffic to the campaigns we serve. This traffic is the very best clean traffic.

Q.

How long will it take to receive the visitors I have purchased?

A.

Depends. Most campaigns are delivered in 60 days or 90 days however this is not carved in stone. The time it takes to complete you campaign depends a lot on the size of your campaign and the target audience chosen. If you need an express campaign for a particular promotion we do have faster campaigns but they are more expensive. Generally speaking the traffic is delivered somewhere between 100 and 250 per day, but again, this can vary according to target category chosen. Email us for more information.

Q.

Why should I choose your company over other services?

A.

We're a real company with real customer service. Most other sellers are part-time hobbyists looking to make extra pocket change. We are professionals and over 80% of our customers are REPEAT customers due to the professionalism and great traffic they receive.

Q.

Do you guarantee that I will generate more sales?

A.

No. We do not guarantee anyone that they will generate more sales. We are a delivery aganet. Our job isto get targted traffic to your website. We do guarantee delivery of the full amount of web traffic service that you have purchased.

Please note that sales on a website will depend on many factors including the website product, content, load time, layout, product pricing, presentation, service and many other factors. We will provide the service of sending visitors to your website, your job is to generate these visitors into customers.

Remember, web traffic is like a 'billboard' ad. We recommend that (if possible) you generate a special ad page for your web traffic campaign (instead of sending them to your websites main page) that may include a super special, an outstanding product or top seller, weekly special or one time offer. Consider a web traffic campaign like a newspaper or billboard ad when you drive by on the highway, you have to get them interested to stay and make that purchase within seconds.

Q.

What is the uniqueness of the visitors. One visit per/?

A.

All visitors sent to your website are full campaign unique. That means you will not receive the same visitor twice for the entire duration of your ad campaign.

Q.

I ordered US & Canada targeted visitors and I think I am getting non-US or Canada visitors.

A.

As I am sure you are aware, a DNS lookup is insufficient to derive a geographic location. For example, a significant portion of .com traffic is non-US and quite a bit of non-us TLD traffic is US. In addition, Regional Internet Registry (e.g. ARIN/RIPE…) data is not useful in such determinations for a variety of reasons. Reliance on either data source will result in very poorly targeted traffic.

IP addresses do not translate directly into geographic locations by nature of the implementation. A more complex model encompassing a variety of techniques and assumptions is therefore required to accurately geotarget traffic. Insofar as it is impossible to determine the exact physical location of any user based solely on his/her IP address, the goal is to determine the most likely location of the user.

Our geotargeting system uses a proprietary subnet database to derive the probable location of all visitors. The primary data is from sources that ask users to enter their address (e.g. order data from large retailers). The assumption is that users in the same IP subnets are in the same general location (so that the location data for one user can apply to the entire IP block). This, when combined with various other data sources can be used in a statistical model to derive the most probable location of each visitor. Thus, we have substantial reason to believe that all users sent to US/Canada campaigns are indeed from the US or Canada.

All systems must employ assumptions to determine the location of users. We strongly believe and can quantitatively demonstrate that our method produces vastly superior results to other methods (a description of other methods is available on request). Indeed, we discard large quantities of (apparently) non-US/Canada .com/net/org traffic that other traffic wholesalers might send as “US” traffic.

While our model and data are proprietary, our results can generally be verified by one of many 3rd party sources. For example, we invite you to compare our results with those provided by GeoBytes: http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm?GetLocation   We have no relationship with GeoBytes and only provide their link because they offer a public interface to their system.

We do not claim or certify that every visitor will be physically located in the US or Canada. Such a claim would be impossible to fulfil. We do certify that we will do our best to properly identify each visitor and that we have a good reason to believe that every visitor sent to a US/Canada campaign is located in the US or Canada. We most certainly do not wish or intend to send improperly geotargeted traffic. Such a practice would not be consistent with our commitment to quality.

Q.

Why do your stats differ to the stats recorded on my site?

A.

Website stats are notoriously unreliable. In fact if you look at your own website stats over a month or two and compare them with your server logs you will see a clear difference.

We provide state-of the-art stats and they serve as final count as 3rd party tracking systems prove very unreliable and often fail. The variables involved in determining actual referring sites, hit counts are many. Our stats serve as the final authority and ONLY server side stats where we are allowed full access to review -- MAY serve for consideration of added traffic if stats differ by 75% or more.

Q.

Do you offer refunds?

A.

No. Generally people request refunds because they either didn't get the results they expected or hoped for. We do not guaranteed results, we guarantee to deliver high-quality targeted traffic. The results you achieve, if any, depend on factors beyond our control, such as, the category targeting you chose, your website design, copy, demand for you product or service, and many other factors. Our job is to deliver the people to your website, it's up to your website to do the selling.
